Welcome to RACCon (Risk, Assurance and Compliance Conference). By accessing or using our website, registering for events, or utilizing any of our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use our services.

These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and RACCon. We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time, and your continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of any changes.

2. Description of Services

RACCon provides:

• Cybersecurity conference organization and management
• Event registration and ticketing services
• Speaker registration and coordination
• Educational resources and content
• Networking and community building opportunities
• Newsletter and communication services
• Volunteer coordination for events

3. User Accounts and Registration

3.1 Account Creation

When registering for our services, you agree to:

• Provide accurate, current, and complete information
• Maintain and promptly update your registration information
• Keep your account credentials secure and confidential
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use
• Be responsible for all activities under your account

3.2 Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years of age to register for conferences and use our services. By using our services, you represent and warrant that you meet this age requirement.

4. Conference Registration and Tickets

4.1 Registration

Conference registration is subject to availability and payment confirmation. We reserve the right to refuse registration to any individual at our sole discretion.

4.2 Payment

All fees are in Indian Rupees (INR) unless otherwise specified. Payment must be received in full at the time of registration. We accept various payment methods as indicated during checkout.

4.3 Cancellation and Refunds

• 14+ days before event: Full refund minus processing fees
• 7-14 days before event: 50% refund
• Less than 7 days: No refund, but ticket transfer allowed

Refunds will be processed within 14 business days of approval. We reserve the right to cancel or reschedule events, in which case full refunds will be provided or tickets transferred to the rescheduled event.

4.4 Ticket Transfer

Tickets may be transferred to another person by contacting our support team at least 3 days before the event. Transfer requests are subject to approval.

5. Code of Conduct

All participants, speakers, sponsors, and volunteers must adhere to our Code of Conduct:

• Treat all attendees with respect and professionalism
• Refrain from harassment, discrimination, or offensive behavior
• Respect confidentiality and intellectual property
• Follow all venue rules and regulations
• Comply with applicable laws and regulations
• Represent yourself and your organization honestly

Violation of the Code of Conduct may result in expulsion from the event without refund and prohibition from future events.

6. Speaker Terms

6.1 Content Submission

By submitting content as a speaker, you:

• Grant us a non-exclusive license to record, publish, and distribute your presentation
• Warrant that your content is original or properly licensed
• Agree to respect time limits and presentation guidelines
• Accept that presentations may be recorded and shared

6.2 Speaker Benefits

Selected speakers receive benefits as communicated during acceptance. Benefits are non-transferable and subject to the speaker fulfilling their commitments.

7. Intellectual Property Rights

7.1 Our Content

All content on our website, including text, graphics, logos, images, and software, is the property of RACCon or its licensors and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

7.2 User Content

You retain ownership of content you submit (e.g., speaker abstracts, presentations). However, by submitting content, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, and distribute such content for promotional and educational purposes.

7.3 Prohibited Uses

You may not:

• Copy, modify, or distribute our content without permission
• Use our trademarks or branding without authorization
• Reverse engineer or attempt to extract source code
• Create derivative works based on our services

8. Privacy and Data Protection

Your use of our services is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. Please review our Privacy Policy to understand how we collect, use, and protect your personal information.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

• RACCon shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages
• Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by you for the specific service
• We are not responsible for force majeure events beyond our control
• We make no warranties about the accuracy or completeness of content
• We are not liable for third-party actions or content

Some jurisdictions do not allow limitation of liability, so these limitations may not apply to you.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless RACCon, its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including legal fees) arising from:

• Your violation of these Terms
• Your violation of any rights of another party
• Your use or misuse of our services
• Your content or submissions

11. Photography and Recording

By attending our events, you consent to being photographed, videotaped, and recorded. We may use such recordings for promotional purposes without compensation to you. If you do not wish to be recorded, please inform event staff.

12. Third-Party Services

Our services may integrate with or link to third-party services (e.g., payment processors, mapping services). We are not responsible for third-party services, and your use of them is subject to their terms and conditions.

13. Modifications to Services

We reserve the right to:

• Modify, suspend, or discontinue any aspect of our services
• Change conference dates, venues, speakers, or content
• Implement new fees or change existing pricing
• Update these Terms at any time

Material changes will be communicated via email or website notification.

14. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

14.1 Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India, without regard to conflict of law principles.

14.2 Dispute Resolution

Any disputes arising from these Terms or our services shall first be attempted to be resolved through good faith negotiation. If negotiation fails, disputes shall be resolved through arbitration in Gurugram, India, in accordance with the Indian Arbitration and Conciliation Act.

14.3 Jurisdiction

You agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Gurugram, India for any disputes that cannot be resolved through arbitration.

15. Termination

We reserve the right to terminate or suspend your access to our services immediately, without prior notice, for any reason, including:

• Violation of these Terms
• Fraudulent or illegal activities
• Violation of our Code of Conduct
• At our sole discretion

Upon termination, your right to use our services will cease immediately. All provisions that by their nature should survive termination shall survive.

16. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision shall be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
